After a mad dash though Nashville Tennessee, Atlanta Georgia, and Sumpter South CarolinaI drove through the night and arrived in Tampa with just enough time to get some sleep and make it to the dungeon of the Castle in Ybor City for Serious Soul’s fantastic Sunday night get down. Then it was off to Gainesville to see Simon and Nadia, Erin, Julien and the new little one too. After a much needed reunion we headed up to the newly remodeled Plasma Lounge for Les Voss’ fantastic night and a beautiful rack of lasers. Then it was all the way up to Jacksonville for an outdoor DJ set where we relaxed and played and had some fun before hitting highway 10 and crossing the continent for the last time this tour.

All of the material from this year’s tour is new. Only two of the songs have been released in previous versions. But it’s all performed live – none of it has been recorded yet (I’m busy doing that right now) and the album will be done in early spring…

Hey, I know you are all about love, and positive vibes. How are you being political in the current U.S. context? I mean before the incoming Regime literally starts shutting down the arts, and makes certain perspectives illegal?
@Peter Montgomery – Peter, in my opinion love is the most radical possible political stance.
I am on the ground, on the road, challenging, provoking, demonstrating, and at times antagonizing the world’s resistance to love. 24/7 and I rarely stop or rest.
It’s possible you misunderstand my message. Love is a verb. It is in no way offered or intended as an internal feeling to be collected, or restrained. It is what we do – how we drive, talk, share, hold ourselves and others in every moment of every day.
Couldn’t be more of an activist. Couldn’t love you more.
I am support this. I believe in love, and actions of caring, access, support for people of all races and genders, and economic levels. It is wonderful that you are out there living it and bringing it on tour. Mostly wanted to hear your take on it. We will be facing very tough times. As with Joseph Goebbels, this new crop of leaders coming in January, are dead set on generating hate and suspicion to support their power, and skimming money. Thanks Sunshine for spreading love and inclusion.
