OPTIONS MENU
HOLD SHIFT – TAP VERIFY
10 – Frd – MIDI Voice Forwarding

EXT INSTRUMENT SETTINGS
Inst Select + EXT Cycle/Guide
[ENTER EXT SETUP MODE ]
CHOOSE USr
SET MIDI CH [TRK I] Inc/dec to select the channel
SHIFT – CH to set all
Choose keys or leave default

ON CONTROLLER KEYBOARD
2 THINGS:
1) On EXT channel keyboard will play through but not record.
2) On 909 Master MIDI ch?Select OCT above drum sounds
HERE IS YOUR EXT INSTRUMENT
Playing while in step write mode enters notes to pattern in real time!

CLEAR
Stop Sequencer – Hold CLEAR
TAP the pattern to clear.
Only EXT INST is cleared, not the drums!!

It doesn’t stop there. You can choose any midi channel for any note and create splits, trigger samples, other drum machines, anything midi, mute the parts per instrument too. And it all saves with the patterns. So dope.
