I was almost denied the ability to purchase this 45 in the Central City Mall in San Bernardino when it first came out.

It’s a long journey from 82 beats per minute to 118.7 bpm. Life is short, and there’s so much pressure. All I want to do is stay in bed another hour and kiss you. It’s really all I want to do. But I know that’s not the way the world turns, and certainly not what the universe has in store for us today. So I push the limits, say more than I should, sing a lot more than I expected to considering moments before I pressed play I had a nice stringly line of snot extending from my nost to the floor… just look at all those asterix’s in the tracklisting, oh dear… but I played away, and tried to navigate my way from the delighted things my heart aches over, and this visceral moment I actually exist in. And voila, I arrive, and we journey together into the night.
Last night’s sunday soul was beautiful. A nice room full of people, good listenership for one of my more difficult themes, featuring more challenging music. I am so porud of you, and feel so grateful and blessed to be a part of something which seems to flow around this little universe of music I am so devoted to. You never let me down. I am always so grateful. Thank you.
