On Friday April 16th I’m headed with my spaceship down to Monarch in San Francisco to support a wonderful cause.
Many people have been imprisoned for crimes which are no longer criminal offenses in California. They remain, forgotten, cases un reviewed, in our penal system. The Last Prisoner organization is a non-profit group who push and pressure our justice system to review these cases, and release people held for years over non-violent cannabis related convictions. I think it’s time these cases were reviewed, and these people released. So of course I am donating my time, love and music to this fundraising event to support the freedom of people who do not deserve to be in jail that the system has forgotten (or not gotten around to yet).
