A few years ago I wrote a pretty elaborate quiz for this site. It was something like 12 parts, with different sections and levels. You couldn’t proceed to the next part of the quiz unless we were alike enough. It was fun, and a number of people got a kick out of it. I enjoyed the dialog it created.
I was looking around for the script recently and read over my questions. It’s amazing how much a person can change in a few short years. So I revised it, and paired it down to a single, very simple 11 question quiz to see if you, my dearest reader, are anything like me.

I think Christina was right… the quiz seemed to be “rigged”. I went in and answered questions which I knew weren’t correct, or at least not exactly the right answers, and still came out a “soulmate” for myself…
As much as I love a challenge, and learning, it’s not really fair to have such liberal results. So I went back and revised the quiz and the options for the results.
It is more specific and stringent now.

I think we’re connecting better this time because I took out the specifics about music, and drugs.
The abstract is a better gauge of culture and values, theory and practice anyhow. At least I think so.
This way we can have more fun applying theories, and examining data, exchanging experiences, and laughing at ourselves, no?

I know that we’ve gone through a lot in the intervening years, but according to your quize, we’ve gone from “soulmates” to “We are nothing alike”! Amazing that we still talk, though it’s less surprising that we see so little of each other these days.
