table of forgivness

It’s been more than four years, and after the intervention of a friend, we met for coffee. I was late, I’m always late, but was met with a hug from the most radiant version of this wonderful friend. We talked calmly, and with affection, catching up on years past, and misunderstandings, now clear. It was like seeing a friend, naturally, lovingly, and with reunion and friendship. Her eyes sparkled with new marriage, and a life rebuilt.

I extended my hand and offered my heart’s forgiveness. She took my hand and replied in kind.

Real friends can overcome anything. Love lasts forever.
