Sunshine - Live/DJ Set at Culture - Sunday Feb. 18th 2007

feb18.jpgThis Sunday night, February 18th, I’ll be spinning with Kincaide and Calos at the Oasis in Oakland.

I’m excited because even though it’s a humble little night, done for the sake of friends and fun, it’ll be by debut using Traktor to mix music outside of my studio. Don’t worry, I’ll have a sound check, and some CD’s in reserve in case things go terribly wrong, but the sound system at the Oasis is pretty chubby, and I’m looking forward to plugging it all in and checking this out.

I’d love to gather up some friends and head over there together. Let me know if you wanna come, should be a lot of fun!

    Just so you know…

    There won’t be any Sunday Soul broadcast tonight. I’ll be here, spinning in person.

    But I’ll be back next week with a new theme and a live broadcast of sunday soul for you.

    hope your night went well.

    last night was the best party in philly since you came to town! king britt rocked a cozy little space for 5 hours straight. he played this deep track with a vocal saying “surrender”. i went over to the dj booth(something i never do) and gave him a high five and we were grinning like two idiots…

    good times.
