We get together in the chatmaster for real time yammering, dedications, love and friendship. It’s actually really one of the best things about sunday soul for me. To join us, just register with the 90hz forum, and then click the chat link, or the big ass button that says “Join Us” and you’re in.
Join us… Let love fill your heart, sunlight blind your eyes, a grin commandeer your sweet lips, and try not to walk into anything along the way.

Last night’s broadcast was beautiful. Good heads, and good times. The conversation journeyed from trouble at work for a friend, to a deeper discussion of love and compromise, our collective love of vespas, some general thoughts about homophobia, a few uncloseted announcements, our greater affection for actually being together and dancing, and landing gently with hugs, and devotion.
I’ve felt this ache inside of me all my life. I thought it was something sad, something painful, and spent many years turning away from it, not wanting to look at it. There are moments, or rather there have been moments in my life where this longing inside of me seemed to hover radiantly within me, unfolding and opening. Sitting quietly in the light of dawn, or in the blur of emotion on a beach, dancing, or anywhere I can forget myself, it becomes clear that there is nothing to fear. It’s not sadness at all… it’s love.
I wanted to prepare a love letter for you last night. And as it goes with me and love letters, there were doubts, and there were fearless declarations. Some of the lines I wish I’d removed, others seemed only potent in relation to you. Up and down, in and out, gently allowing each layer of my heart to simply unfold and be wherever it is, wherever it was in that moment. But in the end it seems to me that love isn’t anything I’m going to get… it’s not a reward, or merritorious in the least, rather, this radiance inside of me is something I am going to do. And so longing, aching, hoping, burning, blazing, and beaming I simply signed my name, licked the envelope and let it go.
