Last night's transmission was heavy. Groundbreaking in so many ways for me personally. So much has been going on inside of me over the last few weeks, and the universe has not disappointed me even a little. Amazing leaps of artistic liberation, emotional turbulence, wildly unexpected healing, friendship, and love just shimmering and bursting the bullshit in my head apart in ways I honestly never expected to experience. Standing by the side of the road holding a lost friend in my arms with joy and gentle communion, laying in the sun kissing the sweetest kisses with lips I believed were lost to me, sitting with friends and just being present, honest, and trusting them completely, or smiling at reunions, communions, and casual silent walks from here to there.

Everywhere in my life love seems to rule the moment. Love... of course, not love. I find myself interested truly, deeply, and completely in you. The frame of my circumstances -- which I'll tell you have been quite stressful and difficult -- seems to fall away without any effort at all, and there is nothing whatever but love. When I think about all the time I have put into trying to find, or save, create, or manifest some kind of relationship with other human beings which will fit into my limited concept of love I have to laugh at what a failure I have been. As if love, the essence of all things, the very heart of what many people call "god," would conform to my ego's demands. It is laughable. Of course love is much, much bigger than this. Of course it overflows, and bursts into the air, getting everywhere, soaking everything, and showing me over and over again how far I can go, how deeply I can feel, how huge my heart is, and how much healing there is to do.

While attendance for the broadcast was superb, the chat was intimate and personal. There were new faces, and a few old friends whom -- to be honest -- I never expected to see again, and while it was the solstice (so many of our working DJ and busy disco dancer friends were out in the real world) Astr0 came home, and many of our beloved regulars were there, talking, loving, listening, and experiencing the transmission in real time together.

Listen to the Archive:
The recording for this broadcast is up now and ready to love you back in the footer of the community area at Treehouse Muzique -- my little tiny record label -- and also in the footer of Sunday Soul -- the home page for this program. There you can download the mp3 file for your iPod, or stream it again, or open it up in a new window and bring it with you wherever you go on the inter-web today.

The weekly archives are post for a week, or until a new recording replaces it (whichever comes first) so time is limited. However, there are selected archives located at http://sundaysoul.com (click archives.) There you'll find a selection of past broadcasts which surprised me, challenged me, or made the listeners really, really happy at the time. These files are just too big to keep every single one of them around, but this archive presents over 500 hours of my mixing, speaking, singing, and freaking out and that oughtta keep you buy for a little while anyway.

Support Sunday Soul:
I need you baby. If you listen to Sunday Soul, download the archives, or are in support of liberated internet digital transmissions, then you have a unique opportunity to put your money where your mouth is.

Beside the download links at both Treehouse Muzique, and at Sunday Soul there is a little yellow button which says "donate" or "contribute" respectively. There, with the click of a little button, you can change the world. Contributions go to help cover the cost of bandwidth, streaming overages, hosting, and the time and money it takes to produce this program each week.

Your support is wanted, needed, and welcome. Even the smallest of donations go a very long way. Thank you for supporting Sunday Soul.

Sunshine's Next Record:
Join me in building a recording budget for Sunshine Jones’ next record Gas Masks and Crazy-Girls. Yes, that’s the working title of the project, and it doesn’t look like we’re gonna change it either…

If you love house music, if you are interested in a community project, check out my personal site: Sunshine Jones and join me in an effort to gather a greater community and produce a self supported album of the songs written and discovered live, right before your very eyes on sunday soul.

Thank you for listening. See you next week.
Love,
Sunshine
