Last night’s program was a powerful one for me. I had been thinking all week about my theme, Amour Muet, and meditating on what I wanted to express with regards to “Dumb Love,” voice, heart, and where I was at with the whole concept of love being an independent entity in and of itself… a force with a life, a mind, a destiny, and a karma of its own.
I awoke yesterday morning with no clear idea of how I wanted to approach the theme. There had been some behind the scenes personal confusion over the topic, of course I have my own issues and motives for the themes I choose, but friends had been excavating the potential “meaning” behind the theme, and wanted to make sure I was ok, that I wasn’t talking about them, and more… “tell me more Sunshine!”
I replied, and responded, but somehow I feel that I shouldn’t have. “Just listen” I said… let’s see…

I sang a lot, and told some stories of moments between people where love’s voice failed, fled, or remained silent. I sang about daydreams, making the world go ’round, and vibrantly shining in our own hearts for who we are, what we love and where we must go. There was a curious pitch incident which took us from 115 up to 122 in an unexpected brush of my sleeve, and a sparkle of feedback at one point. Otherwise the program was wild, personal, deep and loose as always.
In the end, I was delighted, and clear about the theme, and hope you enjoyed the journey with me.
The archive will be up at the bottom of Treehouse Muzique (http://treehousemuzique.com/esprit/) in a couple hours for your pleasure.
See you next week.
Love,
Sunshine
