Program Running Time: 2 hours 55 minutes 38 seconds
We got off to a false start and had to begin again after a couple of minutes. My son loves to push all the buttons, and move all the levers. Sometimes it’s because he wants to be like his father and mix music, and sometimes it’s because my mixers all seem like irresistable space ships and are way too much fun to fly to pass up. Once I fugred out that it was the mic/line level on my broadcasting interface, it was a quick fix, and we started again. I restarted the archive as well, so the recording is complete.
Turn out was heavy at the start, and slowly trailed out. Kind of like my energy tonight. I got back from camping in the Sierras with my son this afternoon and really wanted to go to bed at about 8pm. We’ve been waking up with the sun, and going to sleep after telling scary stories by the fire for a couple of hours. So my heart was in the mountains, in the trees, and swirling and dancing with the sparks of the bonfire.
But I sang a little, and said a few things that have been on my mind, but mostly kept to myself, and mixed, and felt the music flowing through me.
Thank you for listening. See you next week.
I don’t know if I’ll be spinning from San Francisco, New York City, or Washington DC, but Sunday Soul is on, one way or the other.
love and blessings,
Sunshine
