		<description>Happy Monday.

Last night&#039;s broadcast was interesting. After a reflective weekend spent on a bit of a roller coaster I wanted to express some kind of thread between the highs and lows of the places I&#039;d been. I didn&#039;t hold back, or pull any punches. So it was naiive hopes, critical reflection, a little cynicism for fun, and an equal measure of balancing admission to strike an equillibrium between them. The mixing was cumbersome, but it felt really good. Like the existential communion I was looking for. Thus, however awkward, or misshapen, I closed with a bright smile and relief.

I&#039;ve been stepping back from the world as I get deeper into my recording projects, not seeing so mny people, not shopping for records, and only breaking to be alone in the sun, to read, or to spend a few hours with my treasured friends. I keep approaching this rift within myself where I feel as if the world at large wants nothing more than to be amused as lightly as possible. Things are curious, and times are tough. No time for slower tunes, no way to bridge the gap between the more difficult things we really need to discuss, the emotion left between the beats of 114 bpm, and no way to express the hunger for this space, or energy.

And so I explored some faster tempos. I attempted to explain myself at 128 and with a little force. This felt so wrong. As I turn up the tempo, I feel like I am betraying myself, letting you down... but then I wonder in the silence of afternoons... the strings and hi hats still ringing in my ears... who are you? I continue to claim some voice for a collective, when I know that I only speak for myself. And as I speak, I feel myself drifting away. We are something approaching illiterate, and the harder we bash ourselves on the head, the slower and more dimly we reflect the lights I see dancing all around us, all the time.

It&#039;s more than you asked for, I know. So I&#039;ll get to the point:
