I’ve taken the plunge and designed a couple of t-shirts over at cafe press. They’re decent designs, and look like good quality clothing to me. I’ve ordered a couple of them for myself, so I’ll be able to tell you for sure how they are once they arrive. For now there are only 2 designs, and a limited number of styles. With the cafe press free store you can only offer on of each style of shirt (which kind of sucks) but the good news is that if you are at all interested in this sort of thing, I can upgrade the store (at a monthly fee) to a “pro” store. That will allow me to make many designs in the least expensive style using all my graphics and topical headlines. I think it might be nice to offer t-shirts, buttons and other kit based on popular entries, and cool graphics. I, for one, would love to have a t-shirt with my son in sunglasses on the front of it, wouldn’t you? So let’s see how this goes…
