I want an iPhone.
After several first hand experiences playing with them, making calls, sending texts, listening to music, and feeling it in my hand I have to say that I am completely smitten. Yeah, I’ve read all the rubbish about what’s wrong with it, but after watching an episode of LOST, listening to classic house tracks, iChatting with a friend, posting to my blog, and making a phone call, and then handing this amazing little device back to its owner and being faced once again with my pedantic and suddenly totally archaic feeling blackberry pearl, I really don’t care what anyone else says.
My resolve to remain with T-Mobile is strong. I love my phone company. They say it’s going to be $49 a month for 1,000 anytime minutes (9am - 6pm) and unlimited mms and sms messages, free mobile to mobile, and blackberry internet and guess what? It’s actually $49 at the end of the month. When I was with Sprint it was supposed to be $39 a month and it was at least $275 no matter what I did, or how I adjusted the minute plan. Cingular is AT&T and that’s a mess. They are evil. I’ll spare you my tale of the doorbell land line which cost me $29 a month in taxes and endless heartache over unwanted soliciters even after I disconnected the telephone. Suffice to say that as a discerning consumer with a slender purse, I trust T-mobile. They’re all right with me.
But dude… I gotta get me an iPhone.

sunshine,
i am in the exact same boat as you. with t-mobile and i love them, and i have also drooled. although, knowing myself, since i had lapsed out of contract with t-mobile i smartly resigned for two years and then went to go see the iphone.
this video from david pogue of the nytimes helps sum it up: (”iphone:the musical) http://video.on.nytimes.com/?fr_story=217361d45bccf00ec2f21bb0cad35e01d42813a8
on another tip, how the hell did you get SUCH a wicked plan? $50 bucks for all that. do you get weekends too? hot damn. also, have you heard of t-mobile’s new deal, hotspot at home. too damn bad t-mobile didn’t release the iphone b/c that and iphone would be suh-weet.

me too. but I’m shot of cash. But if you don’t move to AT&T it will be years before you will allow yourself the pleasure of buying one.
Its pretty cool, but I’m gonna wait until ver. 2.0 and beat the crap out of my samsung blackjack in the meantime. :)

This sounds great and all, but given my computer and phone situation of late, I think I will stick with t-mobile, and tough it out with the new razor that they promised me.
I would just like my airport connection to work for more than five minutes, before it decides it has had enough.
