It is amazing to me that in a single day there is time for reflection, peace, knowing, love, celebration, connection, action, tasks, labor, longing, aching, doubt, fear, tears, surrender, acceptance, and calm. All in one day. It is truly amazing to me. The human experience is a wonder to see in action.

it’s amazing, we are amazing, so many things
happening at once or in succession and we seem
to live, thrive, grow, learn and change through it
all.

thanks! I’ve been working on double exposures (in this case quadruple exposures.)
i’ve found that not only is my camera not quite up to the task, but that also it’s really really hard to get it right without a tripod. The first rule of multiple exposure is to ensure that the camera doesn’t move between photographs.
I set up my Nikon on a tall studio chair, and set it to take a picture every 30 minutes on Monday. This is the composite of me from about 9:30 am unitl 1pm. It includes the Monday Bummer, my morning reading, dancing to some sneaky techno, and a fit of tears.
I’m working on it…

What a great photo project!
I read some good reviews for a flexible mini tripod and ordered one the other day (hasn’t arrive yet.) Seems perfect for taking outside or using in other places where there isn’t something to set the camera on. Here’s the link to the one for small digital cameras. They have a version 2 for SLR or digitals with big lenses. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000EVSLRO/102-8930815-9243343

I am DYING for an SLR Camera which will shoot in RAW format as well as JPG.
Trouble is, the only cameras within my reach financially are the starters (Digital Rebel, etc.) and the lenses on these cameras are so bad, and there’s actually electronic chipsets in them which make the body’s usless in terms of quality. So you could spend $10,000 on lenses and still never get really good photography out of the cameras… Such a scam, such a shame.
I’m holding out for either a superb mid grade camera like the Panasonic DCM-FC50 which is actually a great camera, I’ve been to the shop and shot a few rounds with it.
Or the real thing: Canon EOS 30… a dream indeed.
