I’m heading south this morning. I have the honor of playing three five hour sets in lovely, protected Cuixmala Mexico. A private gathering of friends and family are getting together in celebration of Adam and Poroshat. Michael Sultan is joining me for these sets, and I can’t wait.
Just a couple of hours and I’m out of here until Monday. You will be with me in my heart, beside me on the beach, dancing in the torchlight, and singing at the top of our lungs in celebration of life, music, and love.
See you soon.

I deeply underestimated the power and beauty of this place.
I am blown away.

i know you have this deep ridden apathy, as do all san franciscan’s, toward los angeles but i have to admit that i really truly am in love with my hometown. i am so happy to be home…i wanna take of my shoes and bury my feet in the cement, lift up my nose and take deep inhalations of the pollution and then lean back in my chair and listen to the melody of car alarms and engines. it is so good to be back home. dunno if you flew, dunno if you took a train but if you drove a lovely little pit stop awaits you in los angeles, a cup of joe, a hug and some conversation all yours for the asking…er, in this case accepting considering i’m already offering. ;p
xo!!
