I have noticed since the mid nineteen eighties that the adjective “creamy” has become synonymous with the idea of a delicious treat in the descriptions of fast food, salad dressing, soup, sauce, and potato chip flavoring.
Does creamy mushroom salad sound good to you? What about creamy, rich egg nog, creamy cold slaw, creamy garlic casserole, or creamy parmesan dressing?
Personally, the very idea of some room temperature, texture free goop anywhere near me makes me revolt in horror and want to run screaming for the bathroom to wash my hands, if not take a shower.
Yuck.
