I’m leaving tonight, the 22nd of January, for a mini tour of Australia’s southeastern region. I was in Adelaide last year for Drwahwah’s 40th birthday party, and I must say that i feel completely in love with the place, and the people. The only thing which brought me back was the impending doom of anti-smoking laws. If they’d continued to allow huffing it up in night clubs and restaurants i may have never returned. Yeah, I had that much fun.

This trip begins where the last one ended, a return to sugar in Adelaide, and a reunion with my friends there. Then off to Byron Bay, Brisbane and finally an low key even in the “house hating” Sydney. So this is a good will mission for me. I am going to plant the seeds of my brand of inner visionesque house music, combined with my live performance, dub mixing, and new music. Pretty fucking exciting actually.

Wednesday, January 25th: Adelaide
Sugar Set time: quite long, and quite late. Playing with HMC and Tbot

Thursday, January 26th: Byron Bay
La La Land Set time: Midnight to 3am

Saturday, January 28th: Brisbane
Family Set time: 6 - 8 pm (?)

Sunday, January 29th: Sydney
Slip Inn (Chinese Laundry) Set time: (?)

Who knows what else will come up, but this is what’s sorted as I prepare to depart. I’m not bringing my telephone, laptop, or any semblance of my habits from home (aside from cigarettes and some matches,) but I am bringing my favorite records, my Technics SLDZ1200 Mk II’s, a sub mixer, a mic, and my delay unit. I really have no idea what to expect, but I’m going to be myself and represent the love of deep, personal, delightful, and refreshing house music (self-appointed of course.) Gonna be myself, and see what comes of it (wish me luck.)
