A LA

We made it safe and sound to Los Angeles. The trip was easy-pants. We both slept the entire trip down.

Friday was challenging. My son was comfortable and at ease enough to push some boundaries, and it didn’t help that we found a mac demo of Star-Wars Leggo. What a fun game, but boy… try asking a five and a half year old to stop playing, or even prepare to stop playing. Crazy-pants. To be fair, I was also a bit stressed because of the travel evening ahead, the upcoming show, and the lack of sleep. But despite my losing my cool a couple times, I think we did really well. This has been amazing! Just what we both needed. A week together, to our heads. My son and I are so deeply connected.

* sigh *

This is how it should always be.

I spent some time with Doc last night. Man, what a man. What a friend. I love that man. He’s amazing.

My sister’s house is beautiful, and I am greeeen with envy. In the best possible way.

Lots of things are going on that I’m actually really eager to tell you all about, but my sister is standing at the door, and my son is pressed up against the glass and they are both gesturing for me to get up and be done typing now.

So I must go…

More later.
